Pete wants to look cool.
皮特猫想看起来酷一点。
He asks everyone, “What should I wear?”
他向大家征求意见，“我应该穿什么呢？”
“Wear your yellow shirt,” his mom says. “It is my favorite.”
“穿上你的黄衬衫吧，”妈妈建议他。“这是我最喜欢的颜色。”
So Pete does.
于是皮特猫穿上了黄衬衫。
“Wear your red shirt,” Pete’s friend Marty says. “It is my favorite.”
“穿上你的红衬衫吧，”皮特的朋友马蒂说。“这是我最喜欢的颜色。”
So Pete does.
于是皮特猫穿上了红衬衫。
“Wear your blue shirt,” Pete’s brother Bob says. “It is my favorite.”

So Pete does.

“Wear your long pants,” Pete’s teacher says. “They are my favorite.”

So Pete does.

“Wear the shorts with the fish,” Pete’s friend Callie says. “They are my favorite.”

So Pete does.

“Wear the polka-dot socks,” the bus driver says. “They are my favorite.”

So Pete does.
于是皮特猫穿上了带圆点的袜子。
“Wear the cowboy boots,” Grumpy Toad says. “They are my favorite.”
“穿上你的牛皮靴吧，”暴躁的蟾蜍说。“这是我最喜欢的衣服。”
So Pete does.
于是皮特猫穿上了牛皮靴。
“Wear the tie with the stripes,” Emma says. “It is my favorite.”
“系上条纹领带吧，”艾玛说。“这是我最喜欢的衣服。”
So Pete does.
于是皮特猫系上了条纹领带。
“Wear your baseball hat,” his coach says. “It is my favorite.”
“戴上你的棒球帽吧，”他的教练说。“这是我最喜欢的东西。”
So Pete does.
于是皮特猫戴上了棒球帽。
Pete puts on all the clothes. Does he look cool?
皮特猫把这些衣服都穿上了。他看起来酷吗？
No. Pete looks silly.
不，皮特猫看起来傻极了。
He also feels very hot!
而且他觉得非常热！
Pete goes home. He changes his clothes.
皮特猫回到家。他换了衣服。
Pete puts on HIS favorite shirt. Pete puts on HIS favorite pants.
皮特猫穿上了自己最喜欢的衬衫和裤子。
Pete puts on HIS favorite socks. Pete puts on HIS favorite shoes. Pete puts on his sunglasses.
还穿上了自己最喜欢的袜子和鞋子，戴上了最喜欢的太阳眼镜。
Pete says, “Now I am COOL.”
皮特猫说，“现在我看起来酷极了。”
If you want to be cool, just be you!
如果你想成为一个酷的人，只需要做你自己就够了！
